Imagining the Alamo Museum Area

At the request of the San Antonio Conservation Society, Alamo Architects has created an Alamo Museum area design concept the we believe strikes a balanced compromise for how the Woolworth and Crockett Buildings can become part of the new Alamo museum that will interpret the history of the 1836 battle. This concept preserves the Woolworth Building as a visible link to San Antonio’s civil rights history. Our belief is that all the history of the revered heart of the city is worth preserving, and we hope our work will help accomplish that goal. Learn more here
