Bisnow, the commercial real estate industry networking group, named Alamo Architects principal, Beverly Baldwin, AIA, among five women recognized as Innovators of the Year at its inaugural San Antonio Women Leading Real Estate Awards. The event featured 23 women in leadership roles across the San Antonio metro area real estate market. The awards program honored the “women whose leadership, vision, and dedication are shaping the future of one of Texas’ fastest-growing real estate markets.”
The group assembled top professionals from the commercial real estate industry: development, investment, brokerage, property management, architecture, construction, and operations. Honorees were recognized for their outstanding contributions to “moving San Antonio forward.”
The Innovator of the Year title was shared among five women “who have excelled in driving innovation in the commercial real estate field and used new or creative ideas to improve the industry.”
“I am delighted to be included in this outstanding cohort of professionals. We are each finding opportunities to make a difference. Texas in 2026 has emerged as a favorable real estate market for adaptive reuse projects, particularly the conversion of commercial buildings into housing,” notes Baldwin, whose current project list includes the conversion of the iconic Tower Life Building. “Over the past decade, I have led several major conversions and found the technical and architectural challenges fascinating. Our team is always interested in bringing new life to underused properties – advancing sustainability and contributing meaningfully to our local economy.”
We appreciate Bisnow for spotlighting the talents of women in commercial real estate, and we are proud to celebrate Beverly Baldwin’s leadership and success in development projects.
