Oppelt is 2025 AIA-SA President

Alamo associate Lindsay Oppelt is President of the AIA San Antonio 2025 Board of Directors. She and the Board will drive the rollout of the four-point 2025 – 2027 Strategic Plan: Community Outreach, Member Value, Knowledge Sharing, and Collective Vibrancy. Alamo senior associate Jeffrey Watson joins her on the 2025 board as Treasurer.

Lindsay leads architectural projects in PreK-12 education for the firm. The California native has two young children with husband, Jim Oppelt and brings a natural empathy to design of environments for “whole child” learning.

“AIA San Antonio continues to connect people and ideas to advance the profession and elevate the built environment through placemaking and critical problem solving.”

Established in New York in 1857, the American Institute of Architects is the nation’s largest, most influential network of architects and design professionals. A vanguard of excellence in architecture and related fields, it promotes the highest standards of artistic, technical, and ethical practice. The San Antonio chapter is the fourth largest in Texas, with over 600 members. Alamo Architects is proud to support Lindsay in her leadership of this vital organization.
