Alamo Architects provided comprehensive Furniture Planning Services for this 166,851 square foot facility. The design aims to create a flexible and dynamic space that supports modern pedagogies, including digital anatomy instruction spaces, versatile classrooms, and strategic commons areas. The UT Health San Antonio has made notable improvements to its medical education infrastructure. In this effort, Alamo Architects played a key role by offering comprehensive Furniture Planning Services for the Academic Learning and Teaching Center. This facility accommodates medical students across various disciplines, providing a conducive environment for their clinical experience at the Regional Academic Health Center (RAHC) in Harlingen, Texas.

The 166,851 square foot facility aims to not only house additional medical students but also address the critical need for skilled healthcare professionals in South Texas.
Alamo Architects provided full Furniture Planning Services for the selection, procurement, and installation of new FF&E but also developed a plan that reflects the standards and culture of the UT Health San Antonio’s location and its occupants.
