TAMU-SA Public Health and Education Building

Texas A&M University (TAMU) has deep roots in Texas – established in 1876 as a land-grant university in College Station. Today, the top-tier Texas A&M system enrolls one of the largest student bodies in the United States, distributed statewide over 11 campuses. TAMU San Antonio campus enrollment has grown to around 8,000 graduate and undergraduate students since its inaugural first-year class in 2009 – primarily Bexar County-based, and 70% first-generation college students. We are proud to be part of TAMU-SA’s continued growth as a beacon of higher education in San Antonio.
The Public Health and Education Building will expand education pathways and research opportunities in the health sciences ecosystem for historically underserved communities throughout South Texas.

Judson ISD Selma Elementary

Insights from our stakeholder engagement sparked inspiration for our innovative design of a new elementary school campus for Judson ISD, San Antonio. This 115,062 SF learning environment, planned for 750 students, provides the landscape for student success, building on the goals and aspirations of the school district and community. We worked to promote key concepts derived from our workshops: Flexibility, Safety, Future Focus – and Joy.

Southtown Aldea

Southtown Aldea, now in pre-construction phase, is a residential development sited at the northern edge of the popular Southtown arts district; also adjacent to historic Downtown San Antonio and Hemisfair and its new Civic Park. The one-of-a-kind development is made up of three midrise buildings arranged around plazas and courtyards, situated between a wide boulevard and the shaded historic streets of neighboring Lavaca. Its rich architectural expression is drawn from the eclectic local vernacular, in a composed harmony of historicist and contemporary design. In material quality and experiential delight, the development is designed to become both a unique enclave for a residential community, and an attractive addition to a desirable downtown neighborhood.
