Over decades of experience, Jerry has cultivated long-term client relationships with San Antonio, Northside, North East, and Judson Independent School Districts. His seasoned leadership and focused perspective have helped the team build a comprehensive portfolio of award-winning, innovative educational projects.
Nicki Marrone, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal | Nicki brings credentialed experience in architecture, sustainable design, and planning to her leadership role in the PreK-12 school team. She is fully engaged with our school district clients, and her commitment to excellence in learning environments guides our design team. Active in the architecture community throughout her career, Nicki served as the 2015 AIA San Antonio Chapter President and 2023 President of the Texas Society of Architects. In her position of senior leadership at Alamo, she inspires excellence by balancing visionary thinking with real-world pragmatism.
Lindsay Oppelt, AIA, Senior Associate | The daughter of a lifelong teacher, Senior Associate Lindsay Oppelt has seen firsthand the positive impact safe, supportive learning environments have on student confidence and achievement. As a senior member of the PreK–12 team, she works diligently to create inspired PK-12 learning spaces, earning distinction for environments that foster wellness through color, natural daylight, and connection to the local landscape. Lindsay served as AIA San Antonio chapter president in 2025.
Glenn McGuyre, AIA, LEED AP, Senior Associate | Glenn brings decades of architectural experience across a wide range of building typologies to his current focus on PreK–12 Schools. His technical expertise extends to campus buildings such as fine arts and sports centers, helping to expand the firm’s portfolio of specialized facilities. As a senior team leader, he facilitates the collaborative, multi-party processes that can take years from project inception to ribbon-cutting. Glenn adds seasoned perspective to our process, helping to deliver exceptional facilities to our school district communities consistently.
Raúl Hernández, Associate | Raúl is an experienced professional known for his dedication to quality and collaborative approach. In addition to his architectural degree, Raúl has formal credentials in construction and project management. With over 30 years of first-hand experience, he brings a wealth of expertise and practical insights to every project. His inclusive approach fosters diverse perspectives and consistently delivers flexible, innovative solutions for our PreK–12 clients.
Jason Mai, Associate AIA, Senior Associate | Jason leverages decades of experience in design and construction to drive the quality control and construction administration on some of the largest and most complex projects in Alamo’s portfolio of work. As an anchor of our PreK-12 team, he helps us deliver exceptional projects through his deep knowledge of building methods, technical experience, and clear, consistent communication among team members and outside project consultants.
Mo Verdecanna, RAS | Mo contributes a wealth of design and technical knowledge to our team. We count on his attention to detail to anticipate and address complex construction challenges, drawing on decades of field experience. As an Associate member of the firm, he is a Registered Accessibility Specialist in Texas and has become an in-house resource for incorporating universal design principles into our projects.
Victor Castillo, RID, IIDA, Principal | With over 30 years of professional experience, Victor has led Alamo’s Interior Design team since 2000. For each project, regardless of size, he engages clients in a proactive process to discover and confirm their organizational needs. Victor leads the firm’s interiors group on projects ranging from non-ambulatory health care facilities for UT Health and others, pre-K–12 educational facilities, college and university facility design, and large-scale institutional designs for universities and major corporate clients including USAA.
